I'm running Firefox 17.0.1 on Ubuntu 12.04.1 and I don't seem to be able to get any of the demos working. Anyone have a fix?

Same here (FF20). The final link to the Quake demo does work though (and other pointer lock demos like https://developer.mozilla.org/demos/detail/bananabread ), so something seems wrong with the examples.

Same here, but chrome works. I'm not sure it's a point lock issues, since that's supposed to work on FF.

In console, the difference I noticed is that FF has this error: Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at ws://./. - shoote...tBqO.js (line 57)

Chrome doesn't have that error.

What specifically doesn't work? Do they not render (WebGL issue) or does your pointer not get locked (Pointer Lock issue)? Try googling "firefox pointer lock doesn't work", I'm sure something relevant will come up.

I'm not SafeSituation, but the demos don't render for me. Presumably that's a WebGL issue. (Google Chrome 23.0.1271.95 on Ubuntu 12.10)

Pointer Lock seems to work fine.

As of 3:15 EST, the 16GB version switches from "Sold out" to "Add to cart" about once every two refreshes. Even when it's "in stock", adding it to your cart triggers an error.

The 8GB seems to be consistently in stock, advertising a 4-5 week shipping period. It is possible to add this one to your cart consistently.

EDIT: Now getting a generic Google server error page: "We're sorry, there was an error. Please try again later."

So, the takeaway for US AT&T customers is that they may potentially roll out LTE on a band that the Nexus 4 supports, but it hasn't yet?

I'd be surprised if they did- why use more bands when you're doing OK with the ones you use now?

The possible win is when T-Mobile eventually rolls out LTE. They are likely to use Band 4... but AFAIK haven't announced when they're ever going to roll it out.

T-Mobile is turning on LTE in 2013. It looks like the Nexus 4 was designed to be ready for it.

Dropbox and Apple are the hardest because of gradients, so try guessing the average color. Thanks for the feedback!

I would say that the only difference that you have to overcome is the tight-knit community of alums. As a CS/OR major from a Top 4 school, I haven't ever gotten an internship offer simply because I was at the school I'm at. Stanford especially is good at fostering connections in the startup community for their students, but Princeton has NY and Harvard has Boston.

What is an OR major please? Google didn't help.
