Consider it validation of your idea and forge ahead. Companies win on execution, not being first.

rather than auto-enrolling in every new service i picture a curated list of current or upcoming launches users can choose from. as far as name squatting, that's kinda the point. on the development side most sign-ups require more than one step (ie "confirm your email") so there'd be some engagement, at least showing interest in the service.

great tool! any plans to pull forecast data for near-term route planning?

I was trying to figure out how to implement this well. One of my principles for this tool is to stay simple, and avoid trying to compete with the 'professional' tools like DUATS, ForeFlight, etc. While pulling and parsing TAFs for large airports is only a moderate work item, I fear the complexity I would add by trying to locate the nearest airport with a TAF and then trying to interpolate it.

Are you looking for something like--'should I fly in 4 hours?'. Knowing what people are looking for could help me keep the solution simple and effective.

Again, thanks for taking a look. The audience for such a tool is small, so I appreciate and any all feedback.

I use Gmail a lot so what works for me is the app Remember The Milk. On the desktop it loads a task list on the right side of the Gmail screen. I put daily tasks there but for meetings I still take the time to enter it in the google calendar

Even with 5 x 62 case sensitive alphanumeric digits, 12 integers is roughly 1000 times more secure

i would but to answer your question, i might wonder if there's a catch. do the items cost any more than if i go direct to amazon.com? (i know the answer is no) but you may want to make that clear. great idea, and a little transparency can go a long way in earning people's trust

no direct experience but i'm betting this is where a good lawyer is worth the expense. preferably one well versed in reading term sheets.

That idea has been postulated, that the cosmological constant changes over large distances (which would affect our view of things over time).also, time itself may be something we interpret but might not play into the math of physics. I forget who wrote it but there was a paper showing the math works out better if you take time out if the equation. Scientific American magazine runs these kinds of stories, might be a good place to start

clean interface. obvious next question... what's the file size limit? any other distinguishing features from dropbox/yousendit/(gmail?)/etc?

thank you! our current maximum supported limit is 2 GB for files. we don't charge for this service, we don't require registration, and we don't store your files on the server... we just stream them

Heroes are supposed to be philanthropists but America admires success. Problem is, most people would be shocked to find out the shady dealings that are necessary to build and run a successful business/government/etc. CEOs have to make decisions that would curl your hair if you saw it, but all anyone sees is the resulting success. Its' much easier to imagine the philanthropy than it is to find a successful philanthropist.
