We have way too many issues with KeyCloak. Sometimes I wonder why did we integrate this. One of the main issue is when you authorize by Github but cancel the authentication, it redirects to KeyCloak page rather than our login page. Couldn't find any solution yet.
Congrats Amit and Team on launch. I think vision is good. Are you repeat founders? Since you have 6 founders from different countries, do you think this may cause conflict in future while scaling? What are your thoughts?
Yes, a couple of Karbon founders are repeat founders.
3 founders are from India, and 3 are from China. It is not easy to launch a fintech product in China, but we would be able to overcome that since half the team is in China.
We built our $100mm startup after getting rejecting in YC interview back in 2014. Even since than I am actively involved in YC. We submitted our new startup's application this fall. Lets hope they hear us this time.
Unfortunately I cannot as it is not my property. Plus one vendor made my client and myself sign an NDA even for the most basic information. What I can say is to not put too much faith in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for this space. The best thing to do is select a couple of representative projects for your company and get each vendor to let you do a POC and then compare the scan results from each. The process of making this happen will be long and painful as it is managed mostly by sales teams rather than the tech folks. In the end though, it's the best way to know what will work for your particular set of development technologies. The good news is pretty much every vendor was receptive to the idea of doing a POC even if it took a while to get each one set up.
Enjoyed reading it. I was under the impression that diplomats live luxury life with Govt Protection when they deployed. I wish if author would have shared detailed experience on few particular countries. Its good that this guy has seen so much. Its great learning of world wide system.
Repeat founder here. I always do with same co-founder. Startup is an emotional exp. My recommendation is to get a co-founder who is passionate and not in for money.
Also, can you pls post Naval's meditations starting guide?
Repeat founder here. But I always have same co-founder. Startup is an emotional experience so my suggestion will be get someone passionate (not money minded).
Can you pls also suggest starting guide for Naval's meditation challenge.
I am in a similar situation other than the fact that I don't have acquisition offer and startup is not making much money even not able to pay my own expense. I have lots of customers though and working on it for more than 3 years. Feeling depressed every day and try to ask the question "what to do?". However, I have people who are managing that well.
Same with me. I build a startup and submitted the ideas for a couple of times but YC continued rejecting us. Even though the first time we got interview request but weren't selected. I pursued and raised funding in multiple rounds. So life continues. Now in 3 years, we dominate the car rental market in ride sharing. Keep building :)
