I've started to feel that startup culture here in Bangalore is not as much as it is believed. I want more fellow hackers to confirm this.

I used to be a regular at the Bangalore circuit few years ago at TiE, Barcamps, MoMo's, Headstart etc. It got a bit monotonous; same people, same stories etc. Then the downturn happened and I also got busy. The events still are happening though. Barcamp 10 dates are out. On Meetup there are a few tech related events in Bangalore too; MySQL, PHP, etc. Don't know how active they are.

Same thing happened in Delhi too, Triggr.in is the new spark.

Looks interesting. I guess Bangalore needs a new spark too.

barcamp 10 is happening in banglore this saturday

Well, I don't know about Bangalore. With events like Triggr and these meetups, the culture Delhi and NCR region is evolving into a tight and supportive community. Glad to be in Delhi!

Same here, never been to Banglore. But, ecosystem in Delhi NCR is heating up. I wouldn't want to live in any other city in India.

Hope we could get few nice co-working spaces in Delhi.

other than having a good weather, the other problems related to culture, language and connections are too high for someone coming from north. I am not sure if I am much happy sticking to Bangalore for long enough.

Come to Gurgaon, its turning into a startup hub.
