Out of curiosity, does this button produce a receipt of the transaction? Or do I, as the developer and site owner, have to create that manually?

I would love a complete solution that just allows me to connect this button to a product, and then Stripe takes care of everything else.

I don't think that is what Stripe is meant to do. That button doesn't even charge your customer. It provides only a token that you can use server-side to charge the customer.
