To all of you trying to justify this, I only have this to say. I am sorry to have to repeat the obvious but it is true and it needs to be said.

The best test for injustice in all these situations, if you are unable to see it staring in your face, is just to turn it round. Imagine the best rubyists just happened to be all black and their conference was cancelled because they were all black.
